AutoTractor is an alternative helper for tractors, which is not only simple boots down under, but automatically detects the direction and continuously adjusts. Who knows my Mod AutoCombine (, who knows what I mean. With the 5 key to open the AutoTractor Hud. There you will find 15 buttons.

Here whose assignment is in the following scheme:

  • A1 A2 A3 A4

  • A1: Helpers on of,
  • A2: Swap between the built-in helper of Giants (default) and the AutoTractor helper,
  • A3: Switching between Hoch-/Runter-Modus (default) and Circular Motion,
  • A4: During the turning maneuver can skip to the next step. This is sometimes needed when the helper has bogged down.
  • B1: Vorwende on/off (default is off). Headland only works when Hoch-/Runter-Modus,
  • B2: Reverse on/off (default is on),
  • B4: Automatic steering. Here AutoTractor only takes over the steering. You have to own the gas. As soon as one directs itself to the automatic steering switches off again. They can also be on the 6 key switch.
  • C1: This button activates the left margin,
  • C2: This button activates the right edge,
  • C3: Increase the maximum steering angle,
  • C4: Reducing the maximum steering angle.
  • D1: Increase working width,
  • D2: Reduction of working width,
  • D3: More space when turning/headland,
  • D4: Less space when turning/headland.

Also, you can still speed with the keys S, 1, 2, 3, and 4 switching. Use at your own risk. Many cultivators but it makes sense to change to speed 2.

There are in addition to all devices that also, the normal helpers, nor sprayers, fertilizer spreaders, manure spreaders and manure barrels supported. Also drawn harvesters and Krautschläger should work. But this is still experimental.

Warning: You must turn on before the Hud alternative helper with Button A2. Is there a quadrilateral, then only the normal helper is on.

    I have an issue with Giants helpers leaving huge patches of the field not done when they turn. It seems they have factored in the tractor going down the right path but not the tool which still has to turn onto the path long after it has started working.

    Would be nice to have a driver that can actually turn out before turning back if reversing isn’t easy, (with trailers etc), so a tool will start the next line without the huge gap. With a fixed tool, you can reverse, a trailer can get hooked up or turn the wrong way and cause the lines to be even worse. Just by turning away from the next line before turning back again would solve the problem of the large turning circle.

    Any driver with half a brain can figure that one out so it seems that Giants helpers are either totally brainless or the programmers who designed the AI are. Considering the helpers will drive straight into a tree and try to keep going forward, I think both may be true.
